I’ve been using Apple Mac for almost 4 years, and today I have a chance to play around with Windows 7 Professional on my loaned HP Probook 4420s. I was having problem to browse internet after connect to PPTP VPN. So I figured it might be DNS problem, and I try to go to command prompt, try to do telnet. Surprisingly, by default Windows 7 disabled telnet.
In order to enable telnet on Windows 7, go to
- Start
- Control Panel
- Programs
- Select “Turn Windows Features on or off”
- Look for telnet client (you don’t have to run telnet server)
- Check or Tick it and apply
My telnet is working now 😀
