How to Allow Remote Access on Windows XP
I just bought a new laptop! Desktop will be sitting in my study room for doing nothing. Well, I decided to do some stuff by remote access into my desktop PC in living room. But before that, I need to allow remote desktop access from my Desktop.
Allow Remote Desktop on Windows XP
- 1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click the System icon.
- 2. At Remote tab, select/check “Allow users to connect remotely to this computer” and click Ok.
- 3. Log out and leave my desktop running and connect it from Laptop via IP Address.
I have my firewall turn off on my Desktop, and that will allow me to access to my Dektop through remote access.
